Hello, my name is Mike Szelewicki and this is my Astrophotography, Aerospace & Nightscape photography website.
I distinctly remember when I was very young of being in my parents basement with company visiting us, and all of us watching black & white grainy images on our colour television. The date was July 20th, 1969, and I was watching the
Apollo 11 moon mission live with Neal Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin dressed in their white spacesuits while walking on the surface of the moon… and those immortal words:
"That's one small step for man,
one giant leap for mankind."
. . . That’s when my interest in space, science, astronomy and engineering took root.
Since that day, I have been fortunate to live in an era where space, astonomy and scientific discoveries have been plentiful, and I have personally enjoyed a life filled with scientific adventure and a career as a Professional Engineer.
This website displays a few photos and timelapse movies of my hobby, interests and travels in astronomy and aerospace. I hope that you shall enjoy these images and much as I did living them.
Clear skies my friends,
Mike & Frances
